Hey everyone, if you have seen the previous post I made regarding fi 3.0 preview, then you already know a little of what's going on.
I've been mia for quite some time trying to figure out where I want to go with the site, and have decided to make the move from 5 years with phpBB, which is a great board from the phpBB group, to the more mature vBulletin.
Quick FI history:
2002: Invision Power Board (v1)
2003-2008: phpBB v2.x (v2)
2009-?: vBulletin (v3)
What does this mean for me?

It shall go live around January 1, 2009.
Right now we have a very small beta team testing out the forum while we add features, modifications, and get the basic look down.

let me and other mods and few select posters be able to embed youtube videos on here laur.
its a simple addon where all you gotta do is type [youtube]video#here[/youtube] and you get a video.
add it. thanks.

new updates inculude:
-error proofed playlist menu for empty playlist
-fixed error for mini iface when playlist is empty
-added preferences form load to program menu(General >)
Get it in the downloads section.

After 5 years of running phpbb 2.x we've decided to upgrade to the (almost)newly released phpbb3 and in doing so are essentially starting over from scratch on many aspects of the site.
In the upcoming weeks I'll be looking to have some people testing out the new version. There will be an extensive amount of changes, which will need to be worked out before...
