Here in Boston, as the Democratic National Convention is about to come to town, our boys in blue have decided this is a good time to pick up a new contract, by protesting outside of the Fleetcenter, which is hosting said convention. They are blocking all construction vehicles from entering the building, and terrorizing anyone that dares try to cross the line. This act in itself seems almost criminal to me. Meanwhile, their brethren are in charge of controlling the crowds, but let's be real. Do you think they're trying very hard? The police have too much power, along with the unions that were supposedly designed to create fairness. Seems now, the tables are reversed. Who's side are you on?

Yeah, unfortunately, you're right. There's no real way to weed out the good from the bad any better than they already do.

I don't know. I know there are some bad cops out there, but I'd say for the most part they do more good than harm.

I, like you, am from Boston. These Police Unions even protested them going to the arbitration before the DNC got here. Just shows they wanted to ruin things for Boston, and Mayor Menino.

While I'm not a Democrat, I do believe that they should be able to have a smooth convention. When did people stop getting fair?

its too hard to vote on this, if a cop saved your life he would be a hero to you, if he took a life close to yours then he would be a killer to you. there have been times the cops have fucked me over, and times they really helped me out. so its undecided for me, but leaning more towards fair

Fuck 'em. They never did a positive thing for me. Car gets broken into, they don't give a shit. House gets broken into, they don't give a shit. (And trust me, when there's finger prints and everything, involved....yea, shouldn't be too difficult), then....pulling me over for the most dumbest things......36 in a 35? Yea, that was about a year ago. Then gives me mouth, when I was nothing but nice to him. Yea, when I faught that one, the magistrate was kinda like....ummm, sooooo...36 in a 35...did you know you were traveling at such a fast speed (making fun of the officer). Comedy. Wink
